For many months, probably years, I've been in a deep process of more fully recognizing my essence and gifts and contemplating how to bring them more fully into the world. My appetite to grow and evolve has been voracious and sometimes challenging, confusing and joyful, as I have surrendered again and again to this journey of my own emergence. I'm on the same journey that I accompany my clients on. And now some new aspects of my work are hatching.

The name of my work and business is now The Voracious Egg – Hatching Your Next Breakthrough.

Voracious means insatiable, ravenous, a deep hunger. Its Latin and Greek roots mean “to devour”. There's a deep inner hunger to realize and express our essence, and that hunger is insatiable. Once activated, it must come forth, just as the universe continues to expand and evolve. It's the burning desire that drives evolution, both individually and universally.

An egg develops mysteriously from a single cell into a fully formed being. During the process, the egg undergoes many transformations, mutations and exponential growth, so that it is unrecognizable at hatching. It must be kept in a safe and warm environment in order to hatch. And the hatching requires the destruction of the container of the shell, or journeying painfully from the mother's womb into a different world. And once hatched, it continues to grow and transform and more fully express itself.

We all have at least one voracious egg in us, that insatiable pull to nourish, birth and express our passion, dreams, callings, our essence. And that essence is voracious in its intention to be expressed.
